Today, we are thrilled to announce that Brilliant has closed its latest fundraising round, led by Next47 and Celesta Capital, with participation by Resideo Technologies, August Capital, Peak State Ventures, Gaingels, and Miramar Ventures. This investment will be used to expand our product offerings and help more single-family home builders, multifamily developers, property managers, and professional integrators provide a better smart home experience to their customers.
Brilliant is the first mass-market smart home control, lighting, and home automation system that can affordably be installed in every home and apartment. By simply replacing a light switch with a Brilliant touchscreen panel, now everyone at home can easily control popular smart devices and experiences: lighting, cameras, locks, thermostats, music, garages, shades, intercom, scenes, and more. Brilliant works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple HomeKit, Nest, Ring, Sonos, Honeywell, Kwikset, Schlage, Genie, Somfy, and more.
Over the past year and a half, our homes have played an increasingly important role in our lives. Like you, we expect technology to make our lives easier and more enjoyable -- this is especially important with each piece of technology we invite into our homes. Until now, the promise of affordable and easy-to-use smart home living has remained unfulfilled. At Brilliant, we’re on a mission to make controlling and automating your home a pleasure. Homebuilders, developers, and property managers are increasingly turning to us to power their smart home and apartment experiences.
We’re confident that these trends, in concert with this new funding, will lead to every single home and apartment being smart from day one.
"Given the widespread adoption of smart home technologies, we are seeing a massive shift in user expectations around having a complete, affordable, and seamless smart home experience.
