How to install your Plug-in Control

The Plug-In Wall Mount Control can be mounted to standard household walls made of stucco, drywall, wood, or brick. 

For mounting to drywall, you can use the provided wall anchors if you are unable to mount the device to a stud.
For wood or stucco walls, you can use the provided self-tapping screws to drill the mount to your wall.
For brick or stone walls, we would recommend drilling a pilot hole prior to mounting with the provided wall anchors.

The Brilliant Plug-in Control can be mounted to walls near entry ways and exit points of your home < 13 feet away from a power outlet or surge protector. You can also replace an existing light switch by mounting the device to the junction box your existing light switch uses.

Ideally the power outlet is less than 13 feet away from the plug in mounted control. If you would like to learn more about extending the distance, please contact customer support

Yes, Your Plug-In Control will be able to join your existing home. 

If you already have a Brilliant Control, Smart Dimmer Switch, or smart plug you can use the Plug-In Control sliders to control these devices.
