BluOS is a premium multi-room audio ecosystem that manages stored and cloud music sources and playback, with support for high-resolution audio streams up to 24/192. Adopted by some of the most renowned hifi audio brands and integrated with Brilliant, BluOS allows for interoperability among enabled devices across brands for maximum versatility and use cases.
Integrations with popular streaming music services like Tidal, Spotify, and Deezer, as well as featuring support for FLAC, WAV, MQA, and other high resolution formats and codecs allows BluOS to have virtually unlimited access to music of all genres for any occasion. Made up of an operating system and a control application for smart phones that is compatible with Brilliant controls, BluOS is the ultimate choice for the modern audiophile.
Any Bluesound, NAD, DALI, PSB or other BluOS-enabled speakers are able to be connected to Brilliant.
BluOS enabled speakers, subs, nodes, and other audio accessories must be set up using the BluOS Controller app on the same internet connection that your Brilliant devices are connected to.
Before you begin, make sure your BluOS enabled devices are set up and ready to use with the BluOS Controller app and connected to the same WiFi network as your Brilliant Controls.
You can connect BluOS enabled devices with the Brilliant mobile app or a Brilliant Control.
Using the Brilliant mobile app:
- Tap the Settings icon in the top left corner of the Home Screen
- Tap “Works With”
- Tap “BluOS”
- Taps “Add New Devices”
- A screen will pop up that says "Searching for new devices"
- Tap the speaker you’d like to add and follow the onscreen setup instructions
- If you want music and audio content to appear on your Brilliant Control, use the BluOS app to add Presets.
Using a Brilliant Control:
- Tap "Add" in the bottom menu bar on the Home Screen
- Tap “Add Partner Device”
- Tap "BluOS"4. Select the speaker(s) you’d like to add and follow the onscreen setup instructions
- If you want music and audio content to appear on your Brilliant Control, use the BluOS app to add Presets
If you have added Presets to your BluOS app, you can view them on Brilliant by tapping on the Music shortcut or navigation button on your Control or mobile app.
BluOS Presets allow you to quickly start your favorite music, radio stations, playlists and inputs with a single tap.
In the ‘Now Playing’ screen, tap on the Music icon in the upper-right hand corner to select additional content to play.
This list is based on the BluOS Presets you have created. If you have not created any Presets in the BluOS Controller app, no Presets will appear on this list.
